On 13 July, the famous singer and composer, Emin Agalarov, gave a big concert at the Green Theatre in Baku. The concert was dedicated to the presentation of his new album "After The Thunder" and had a traditionally charity nature.

The evening opened with the musical composition "Azerbaijan" from Muslim Magomayev's repertoire, which was performed to the accompaniment of folk instruments. Then Emin himself came on stage and began singing "Never Enough", the song he performed in the final of Eurovision-2012. The well-known musician, whose compositions topped the British, German and Russian charts this year, introduced a completely new show - colourful lighting solutions, several large monitors and original arrangements of songs. He sang new songs from the latest album "After the Thunder" and old hits. The singer composed most of his new repertoire in collaboration with global songwriting giants Paul Barry (author of a good half of Enrique Iglesias' hits), Jamie Scott, Wayne Hector, and others.

The concert at the Green Theatre, where there were no vacant seats, was attended by the musician's 98-year-old grandmother and father Aras Agalarov. The famous grandson greeted her and his no less famous father from the stage, sharing with the audience a story about Agalarov still keeping his first car Moskvich-412 in the garage. "I get an enormous pleasure, sitting behind the wheel of this banana colour car and getting it out of the garage. This time my children also had a ride with me and they liked it very much," the singer said, as always genuinely sharing his impressions with the audience.

Talking about his album "After the Thunder", Emin Agalarov, said that it will be presented in many countries around the world. During the concert involving the Baku string chamber orchestra, which accompanied Emin's performance in the final of Eurovision-2012, the audience was presented a memorable musical show. A special guest was the representative of our country at Eurovision-2012, Sabina Babayeva, who performed the song "When the music dies".

As always, Emin talked a lot with the audience, and with great pleasure. He patiently signed autographs and took flowers, and after the concert he had a long photo shoot with the guys from his fan club. "This theatre is dear to me, primarily because it is here that I gave my first concert in Baku and because this theatre is always visited by such wonderful spectators singing to whom is a pleasure," the singer said. By tradition, Emin sang a duet with his idol - the great Muslim Magomayev. Thanks to the wonders of musical equipment, they sang the famous song "Blue eternity". These touching moments of the evening will remain in the hearts of the audience forever: Muslim Magomedovich was one of the teachers and mentors of Emin.

The presentation of the album "After The Thunder" was great. Emin's singing, despite the unpredictability of live performance, was flawless. The sound was unparalleled, while the video installation that accompanied every song was on a par with the best European concerts. Emin's concert team worked accurately and well - the purity and clarity of the picture that delighted everyone with its synchronicity with the songs, and the accurate thematic selection of videos for respective compositions. All this could not leave even the most incorrigible sceptics indifferent. The audience did not want to let Emin go even after a two-hour concert until he told the audience (again, sincerely and sympathetically): "When will you let me go?!" The concert was a great success. It was one of Emin's best concerts in Baku, if not the best.

The release of the album "After The Thunder" took place in May this year in Europe, Britain, Russia and CIS countries with the support of the world's leading record label EMI. The premiere of the CD caused an instant reaction: the single "Baby Get Higher" immediately got on the playlists of the most popular radio stations in Europe, including the BBC, Radio 2 and Magic FM, and confidently made its debut in the British Top 40 charts. In Russia, a major hit was the song "Heart Keeps Beating", which was immediately picked up by Russia's major stations - Russkoye Radio, Avtoradio, NRJ, LOVE Radio, Humour FM and Megapolis FM. For the first time in his career, EMIN recorded a song not only in English but also in Russian. The singer plans a concert with a special number at the New Wave international contest, which will be held in Jurmala (Latvia) from 24 to 29 July. Agalarov will perform on 29 July at the closing of the contest. The singer will also perform in a collective concert of Russian pop stars "All star beach concert", which will be held in Jurmala on 27 July.
