The singer and composer Emin Agalarov will appear at the "Eurovision-2012" international song contest as a guest of honour. Two Azerbaijani musicians, Azerbaijani and Russian dancers will take part in the artiste's Eurovision performance.
In all, about 70 people will be involved in Emin Agalarov's show. At a press conference which was held at the SeaBreeze Hotel, Emin spoke in detail about the coming performance and his plans. His meeting with the media was attended by Emin Agalarov's producer, David Bainbridge, and the director of the performer's concert shows, Peter Bird.
According to Emin himself, he is very happy to have the opportunity to take to the stage at the Baku Crystal Hall and he hopes that the visitors to the contest will like the surprise-number, which he has prepared specially for this event. Azerbaijani musicians will appear with the artiste in the main arena of the competition, which means that the show will be full of ethnic musical colour. At the "Eurovision" show Emin will present his song Never Enough. He says his wife Leyla Aliyeva likes this song.
Peter Bird said that this composition in its musical format will be more familiar to the European audience. Asked by journalists when he will decide to represent Azerbaijan at the "Eurovision" contest, Emin joked that this would be in many, many years' time, when he is knocking on 76, like the British entry, Engelbert Humperdink. Incidentally, Agalarov noted, he was very impressed by the British singer's work and bearing. Speaking about the "Eurovision" favourites, Emin stressed that he was rooting for Sabina Babayeva and would like the competition to be held in Azerbaijan again.
As part of "Eurovision" Emin will also take part in various leading British radio shows, such as the Graham Norton Show and the Ken Bruce Show, in which they will take an excursion around Baku and discover the secrets of the Eurosong. Among Emin's future plans are another video in Baku. In one of the songs of his new album there is a line about the Caspian and this track may be screened in the Azerbaijani capital. On 27 May the artiste will give a solo concert at the Euroclub.
