We live in an era of modernism and high-tech communication tools and technologies that challenge the speed of light. Using a mobile phone, you can go to any website, download any information and communicate with anyone anywhere in the world. But has it increased the effectiveness of our communication? How should we avoid the sense of isolation that occurs in our time? The world cannot exist without a certain internal state of fullness and satisfaction. Therefore, we must consciously use our intellectual and mental energy to achieve the primary and the spiritual. We turned to making money, gaining prestige and acquiring property in an attempt to replace the missing link - culture. But in fact, it is culture that helps us to express ourselves best. In it, we find out human essence and mental balance - the balance that is needed to survive in today's hectic world. Throughout the world, attempts are regularly made to inculcate the so-called culture of delusions in people's minds. There is no need to invent a new ideology. It has long existed in the values of culture that absorbs the entire centuries-old path of the civilization.

Azerbaijani soil has always been famous for talents, and Baku, which is one of the most beautiful cities in the world, has created its own national character that absorbed the best qualities of representatives of many cultures and traditions. Azerbaijan is now on the threshold of Eurovision-2012. The contest is starting. All services are ready for hard and responsible work, the purpose and main objective of which is to do everything possible to make this song festival memorable and to leave the most striking and unforgettable impressions in the hearts of its guests and participants. Let's walk through the streets of our beautiful city and see how the country prepared for Eurovision-2012 whose motto "Light Your Fire!" is close and dear to all the residents of the Land of Fire. Cultural figures, workers, artists, engineers and scientists not only from Baku, but many other cities worked hard to create all the necessary conditions for a successful contest. There are no details here, and there could not be any: After all, literally everything - from the design of the foyer to technical equipment - affects the extent to which Eurovision-2012 will be coherent, clear, organized and festive.

What can you do - holidays come and go. They go, but leave a large supply of striking positive emotions that are so necessary in the stressful flow of everyday life.

Bakuvians will meet all the participants and guests of the contest with their traditional hospitality, familiarize them with the life of the Azerbaijani capital, its sights, and do everything possible for the guests of Eurovision-2012 to feel the breadth of the Azerbaijani soul.

Very often, Baku is compared with other wonderful cities of the world - someone calls it "the Paris of the East", someone calls it Naples, and someone else - Genoa on the shores of the Caspian Sea. The capital of Azerbaijan, as recognized by tourists, is striking in its beauty and elegance. Baku is a city of contrasts, and the East borders the West here. Monuments - the rock paintings of Qobustan, the walls of the Old City, the Maiden's Tower, the minarets of mosques and other samples of eastern architecture - are well contrasted with the modern high-rise buildings, squares and parks with magnificent fountains, telling about the ancient history and modern development of Azerbaijan.

But it is better to see once than hear a hundred times. It is not without reason that people say: "You come to Baku once in order to return here many times."
