Bakuvians became the first spectators of Emin Agalarov's new show programme, which was invented and developed by the British show director Peter Bird. The concert of the musician and successful businessman was held at the Heydar Aliyev Palace on 22 December. Emin began preparations for the current show several months ago. Rehearsals with the choreographer, vocal teacher, production director and musicians - the results of this hard work have already been assessed in Baku and have yet to be assessed in many countries around the world. Next year, this concert programme will mark the beginning of the musician's world tour, which will take place in Russia, UK, Germany, Turkey, UAE and USA.

The well-known musician, whose compositions topped the British, German and Russian charts this year, introduced a completely new show - beautiful lighting solutions, a video from six large monitors and original arrangements of songs. The talented musician's new songs and old hits were performed here. The singer composed most of his new repertoire in collaboration with global song-writing giants such Paul Barry, the author of a good half of Enrique Iglesias' hits, Jamie Scott, Wayne Hector and others. The producer of the disc was Brian Rowling, who is known for his work with Lara Fabian, Enrique Iglesias, James Morrison, Cher and many other international stars. Apart from the new songs, one of which "Just for one night" is already loved by the audience and Love Radio and Dfm, Emin performed some of his old hits such as the composition "Still" - the first song composed and performed by singer five years ago.

In September this year, Emin signed a five-year contract with one of Europe's largest record companies EMIMusicGermany to release and distribute the album "Wonder" in Western Europe. "Wonder" is now being distributed in all countries except for Britain and Ireland, where the disc was recorded and released by the independent record company SaffronMusicLtd. The contract also provides for the release and distribution of Emin's two subsequent albums in collaboration with EMI, a company which sells its products in 50 countries. It is one of the biggest record companies in the world along with Universal Music Group, Sony Music Entertainment and Warner. The company owns the rights to more than 1 million songs. EMI's partners are leaders of the world music industry: Elvis Presley, The Beatles, Kylie Minogue, Robbie Williams, Roxette, Katy Perry and David Guetta.

The concert at the Heydar Aliyev Palace was attended by the musician's 97-year-old grandmother, his father Araz Agalarov and wife Leyla Aliyeva. The singer dedicated the famous hit of the twentieth century "Unchained Melody", known from the film "Ghost", to his beautiful wife Leyla. Emin spoke to the audience a lot and with pleasure. He patiently signed autographs and took the flowers, and after the concert, he spent a long time taking pictures with guys from his fan club. By tradition, the legendary "My Way" was sung - and, again, as announced by Emin, it was dedicated to Muslim Magomayev, whose song "Blue Eternity" the viewers saw and heard from the screen. And perhaps, it was the most touching moment of the evening: Muslim Magomedovich was one of the teachers and mentors of Emin.

Special guests of the evening were the Eurovision-2011 winners Eldar Qasimov and Nigar Camal, who performed their famous hit "Running Scared". It should be noted that Emin's Baku concert, as always, was a charity event - the proceeds from ticket sales will make it possible to complete the reconstruction of school № 130 in Nardaran.
